A value of the Windows type DWORD is an unsigned integer using 32 bits. It's normally used to contain bit patterns. The Cockpit "default" type for 32 bit values is LONG because of the Xbase++ way of passing numeric data to Dll functions, hence Cockpit represents DWORDs exactly like LONGs. See LONG. |
